Ceremony Coverage
The heart of the day. The thali tying, the Saptapadi, the garland exchange, the kanyadanam — documented as they happen, from positions chosen before the ritual starts rather than during it.

We know when the thali is tied and where to stand for it. That is the difference between documenting a ceremony and chasing it.

Tamil & Hindu ceremony specialists

The flow
We know the ceremony flow, so we are not reading a shot list on the morning of.

The rituals
We know when the key rituals happen — and where to stand for each one.

The room
We work calmly in loud, crowded, high-energy family rooms.

Two photographers
Both of us photograph every wedding. Not an upgrade, not an add-on.

The edit
The edits are clean and timeless, so they still look right in twenty years.

From the first hour of the day we are beside you, photographing each tradition as it happens. As the thali is tied we are already in position for it, because we know it is coming. Through the Saptapadi, through the garland exchange, the job is to document rather than react.
That knowledge is the whole difference. A photographer meeting a Tamil or Hindu ceremony for the first time spends the day half a step behind — asking what happens next, missing the moment while they find out. We already know the sequence, which means we can spend the day watching your families instead.
Vithu and Gaya both photograph every wedding, on all three collections. Most Toronto studios bill a second photographer as a paid add-on; with us it is simply how a wedding day is covered.
What We Cover
Every collection is built from these three. Which ones you need depends on how many days your celebration runs.

01 · The Ceremony
The heart of the day. The thali tying, the Saptapadi, the garland exchange, the kanyadanam — documented as they happen, from positions chosen before the ritual starts rather than during it.

02 · The Reception
The grand entrance, the speeches, the dancing, and the hours where the families finally relax. Low light and fast movement are where experience shows most.

03 · The Days Before
Haldi, Mehndi and Sangeet. Often the warmest, loudest and least formal photographs of the whole celebration — and the ones families come back to most.
Not sure which you need? Tell us how many days your celebration runs and we will tell you honestly which collection fits — including when the smaller one is enough.

FAQ
Yes — Vithu and Gaya both photograph every wedding, on all three collections. Most Toronto studios bill a second shooter as a paid add-on. It matters more than it sounds: one of us stays on the ritual while the other is on the families, which is how you get the reaction as well as the moment.
By knowing the order they come in. We are familiar with the Kanyadanam, the Saptapadi and the tying of the thali, and we take our positions before each one begins rather than during it. Where a couple’s family follows a particular variation, we go through it with you beforehand so nothing takes us by surprise on the day.
It depends on the collection: 3 weeks on Multi-Day Premium, 4 to 5 weeks on Full Wedding Day, and 5 to 6 weeks on Essential Ceremony. Whichever you choose, you will have the date in writing before you book.
Most couples book six to eight months ahead. Peak season weekends go earlier than that, so if you have a date in mind it is worth checking availability even if you are not ready to commit.
Yes. The Multi-Day Premium collection covers 16 hours across two days and includes Haldi, Mehndi and Sangeet. If your celebration runs longer or differently, tell us the shape of it and we will quote it properly rather than forcing it into a package.
With a list agreed in advance and someone from each side who can call names. Large group photos are normal at Tamil and Indian weddings and they go smoothly when they are planned; they turn into forty lost minutes when they are not. We will build the list with you at the consultation.
Both, and a wedding needs both. The formal family groups matter — those are the frames the grandparents want. But the day is mostly made of the unposed hour in between, and that is where two photographers earn their place.
For a full wedding day, typically 400 to 700 edited images, depending on hours and how many events are covered. Every one is individually edited — you are not receiving a dump of raw files.
Yes. Travel across Toronto and the GTA is included. Beyond that a travel fee may apply depending on distance, and we quote it before booking rather than adding it later.
Yes. Albums and fine art prints can be added to any collection, and we will walk you through the options once you have seen your gallery and know which frames you actually want on a wall.
