Why Families Choose Us
What We Cover
Longer coverage is quoted by the hour, and we will tell you honestly when two hours is enough.
Your match
From $450 · Min 2 hours
The bangles, the aarthi, the blessing, and the family portraits afterwards.
We arrive before the ceremony starts so the room is photographed while it still looks the way it was arranged — and we know which rituals happen only once.
Your match
From $450 · Min 2 hours
The font, the blessing, the godparents, and the reception after.
Churches are dim and the ceremony is short, so this is a job for someone who has done it before and is not learning your church’s light on the day.
Your match
From $450 · Min 2 hours
The service, the procession, the portrait in the dress or the suit, and the family groups afterwards.
We stay unobtrusive during the Mass itself — quiet shutter, no flash, no walking in front of anyone.
Your match
From $450 · Min 2 hours
First birthdays, sixteenths, fiftieths, anniversaries and retirement parties.
The cake and the speeches matter, but the photographs families come back to are the ones from the half hour when everybody forgot there was a camera.

Planning something that isn’t on this list — a naming ceremony, an ear-piercing, a graduation, a housewarming? Tell us what it is and we will quote it properly.
We reply within one business day, before you commit to anything.
Valaikappu Photography
The moment the mother-to-be is seated and the older women of the family gather around her is the photograph the family will actually keep — and it lasts about forty seconds.
A valaikappu is not a baby shower with different decorations, and photographing it like one is how the important frames get missed. The bangles go on in a particular order, from a particular set of hands. The aarthi happens once.
We know that, so we’re already standing in the right place. You will not spend your own valaikappu explaining your traditions to your photographer, or discovering afterwards that nobody photographed your mother putting the first bangle on.
We photograph valaikappu and seemantham ceremonies at homes, banquet halls and temples across Toronto, Scarborough and Markham — and the same applies to a Hindu naming ceremony, an ear-piercing, or a first-birthday. If your family runs the ceremony a particular way, tell us at the consultation and we will follow your version of it, not a generic one.
We reply within one business day, before you commit to anything.

Event Coverage
$450
Starting rate · two-hour minimum
We reply within one business day, before you commit to anything.
Larger events can be covered by two photographers — Vithu with Gaya as second shooter — quoted at the time of booking.
Travel across Toronto and the GTA is included; further afield in Ontario a travel fee may apply, and we will tell you the number before you book rather than after.
“We would highly recommend this photographer! We had him join us for our baby shower and the photos turned out so well. The entire family was happy with it. He was so patient and kind throughout the whole event and we could not ask for better memories to be captured!”
Before the day
Tick the groups you would like, then send the list to the family so nobody is missed on the day. It is a head start: after you book, we go through the running order with you.
How It Works
Step 1
Send the contact form with your date, the type of ceremony and where it is being held. We reply within one business day and tell you straight away whether the date is open.
Step 2
The date is held once the booking fee is paid. Then we go through the running order with you — when the ceremony starts, who needs to be in the family photographs, and anything specific to your traditions.
Step 3
We arrive early, while the room still looks the way it was set up. Then we work quietly through the ceremony and the celebration after it, so your guests can forget we are there.
Step 4
2–4 weeks
Your edited photographs arrive in a private online gallery within two to four weeks, ready to download, share with family and print from.
FAQ
Coverage starts at $450 for a two-hour minimum, which is enough for most valaikappu ceremonies held at home. Larger ceremonies in a banquet hall usually run three to four hours; we quote the additional hours before you book, not afterwards.
For a ceremony at home, usually yes. For a hall with a full guest list and a meal afterwards, usually not. Tell us the running order when you inquire and we will tell you honestly — including when two hours is all you need.
All three, plus churches. Each has its own lighting problem — a dim church, a low-ceilinged living room, a hall lit in colour — and we bring what that venue needs. We photograph across Toronto, Scarborough, Markham, Mississauga and Brampton.
Yes. We have photographed at banquet halls, temples, churches and community centres across Toronto and the GTA, and we can tell you which rooms photograph well and where the light is difficult — ideally before you sign the venue contract, not after.
Yes — and that is the reason most families book us. We know the bangles go on in order and from particular hands, that the aarthi happens once, and which moments cannot be repeated for the camera. You will not spend your ceremony directing your own photographer. If your family runs it a particular way, tell us beforehand and we follow your version.
Valaikappu and seemantham ceremonies, baptisms and christenings, first Holy Communions, and birthdays and milestone celebrations. We also cover naming ceremonies, ear-piercings, graduations and housewarmings — if your event is not on the list, describe it and we will quote it.
Within two to four weeks, in a private online gallery you can download from, share with family and order prints from. Rush delivery is available if you need images sooner — ask when you book.
Yes. For larger events Vithu shoots with Gaya as second photographer, which means the ceremony and the guests are covered at the same time rather than one after the other. It is quoted at booking based on the size of your event.
Every image is individually edited and colour-corrected before it reaches your gallery — that is included, not an upgrade. You are not receiving a folder of raw files. Additional retouching beyond that is available on request.
Send the contact form with your date and event type; we reply within one business day. Your date is held once the booking fee is paid. For weekend dates in peak season it is worth inquiring two to three months ahead.
