A Photographer Who
Feels It Too
My Story
Hi, I'm Saakshi
I'm a Toronto-based photographer with a deep love for authentic, heartfelt moments. For over six years, I've had the privilege of photographing families, expecting mothers, newborns, and couples across Toronto and the GTA.
Photography found me at a time when I was searching for a way to hold onto the things I love — the warmth of a morning, a child's unguarded laugh, the way two people look at each other when they think no one is watching. I fell completely in love with the ability to stop time.
My approach is calm, warm, and unhurried. I believe the most meaningful photographs happen when you stop posing and start simply being. My job is to create the conditions for those real moments to emerge — and then to be there when they do.
I'm endlessly grateful to every family, couple, and new parent who has trusted me to be part of their story.

What I Believe
The Philosophy Behind Every Photo
The imperfect moments are often the most meaningful. A wonky smile, a chaotic toddler, a teary exhale — these are the images you'll come back to.
I'm obsessed with natural light — the way it falls, the warmth it creates, the quiet beauty it finds in ordinary moments. Every session is built around it.
My sessions are calm and pressure-free. I want you to feel seen, not performed. That comfort is what unlocks the images that truly matter.

Six Years of Showing Up
Every number below represents a real family, a real moment, a real story. I don't take that lightly.
From the very first session I ever shot to the wedding I photographed last weekend, every single one has shaped how I see light, connection, and the art of being present.

A Few Things About Me
When I'm not behind the camera, you'll find me exploring Toronto's farmers markets, cooking new recipes on Sunday afternoons, or at a local coffee shop with a latte and a photography book.
I was born and raised in Toronto, and this city has shaped my eye in ways I'm still discovering. The light in High Park in October. The warmth of the Distillery in December. The chaos and beauty of the waterfront in summer.
I'm also deeply passionate about creating a safe, welcoming space for all families. Every person who comes to me deserves to feel celebrated and seen — regardless of their background, family structure, or story.
"The camera is a machine that has taught me how to see without a camera."
