Timeless portraits that honour this fleeting, extraordinary chapter of your life.
Book Your SessionMaternity sessions are deeply personal. There is something so powerful about celebrating the strength, beauty, and anticipation of this chapter — before it passes.
My approach is guided and intentional. I direct every pose, every angle, and every detail so you never have to wonder if you look okay. You just get to feel it.
Sessions take place at our studio at Mint Room Studios, beautiful outdoor locations across Toronto, or the comfort of your own home.

The ideal window for maternity portraits is between 28 and 33 weeks — when your bump is beautifully defined and you’re still comfortable enough to enjoy the experience. But every pregnancy is different, and we tailor our guidance to you.
Perfect if you want to document the beginning of your journey. Subtle bumps are beautiful too, and this is ideal for mamas who want a longer series across multiple trimesters.
Carrying multiples? This is the recommended window — your belly is full and gorgeous, and you’re still comfortable. We keep the session relaxed and work with your energy.
The most popular timeframe. Your bump is beautifully round, you still have mobility and energy, and the light catches every curve. This is when most of our clients book, and the results speak for themselves.
Past 34 weeks? It’s not too late. Reach out and we’ll find the right approach for your body and your timeline.
We know this session is about her — but you’re part of this story, too. You don’t need to be comfortable in front of a camera. We’ll guide every pose, every hand placement, every look. All you need to do is show up and hold her the way you already do.
Most partners walk in nervous and walk out saying it was one of the best experiences they’ve had together.
This isn’t a rushed 30-minute shoot. It’s a thoughtfully guided experience — from the moment you inquire to the moment your finished portraits arrive at your door.
We start with a conversation. Before anything else, we get to know you — your aesthetic, your comfort level, who you’d like to include. We’ll discuss location and the overall feel of your session so that every detail is intentional.
Guided, unhurried, and entirely yours. Whether we’re in the studio or outdoors in one of Toronto’s most beautiful settings, we’ll direct every pose and capture every angle. Bring your partner. Bring your kids. Bring your dog. We’ll make space for all of it.
Two weeks after your session, you’ll return for a private viewing appointment. We’ll walk you through your full gallery, help you choose your favourites, and guide you through product options — from fine art prints to heirloom albums.
Every location brings something different to your portraits. We’ll help you choose the one that feels right.
Not sure which location suits you? We’ll talk it through during your consultation and match the setting to your vision.
We believe in transparency. Before you reach out, here’s what to expect.
Our maternity sessions are more than time behind a camera. Your investment includes a pre-session consultation, fully guided posing and creative direction throughout your session, and a private viewing appointment where you’ll select your favourite images and heirloom products.
Every family’s order is different. Some choose a single statement piece for their wall. Others build a full album and print collection. During your viewing appointment, we’ll walk you through every option so you can choose what feels right for your home and your budget.
Request Our Full Pricing GuideWhen should I schedule my maternity session?
We recommend booking between 28 and 33 weeks, when your bump is beautifully defined and you're still comfortable. That said, every pregnancy is different — if you're carrying twins or are past 34 weeks, reach out and we'll work with your timeline.
How far in advance should I book?
We recommend booking as early as your second trimester to secure your preferred date and location. Our schedule fills quickly, especially during spring and fall.
Can my partner and kids be in the session?
Absolutely — and we encourage it. We'll dedicate a portion of the session to family portraits and a portion to solo portraits of you. If you have a toddler, we'll keep things relaxed and work with their energy, not against it. Pets are welcome too.
What if I don't feel photogenic?
You don't need to be. That's our job. We guide every pose, every angle, every expression. Our clients consistently tell us they've never felt more beautiful in photos than they did during their maternity session — and many of them said the same thing you're thinking right now before they booked.
Do I need to bring my own outfits?
Yes — you'll want to plan your outfits in advance. After booking, we'll send you a detailed style guide with recommendations on colours, fabrics, and silhouettes that photograph beautifully at this stage. We suggest bringing two to three options so we have flexibility on the day. Think flowy fabrics, soft neutrals, and fitted pieces that celebrate your bump.
Should I arrive with hair and makeup done?
We recommend it. Professional hair and makeup can make a noticeable difference in how you feel during the session — and that confidence shows in the photos. If you don't have a go-to artist, we can recommend someone.
What happens if it rains on the day of my outdoor session?
We reschedule — no stress, no extra fees. We monitor the weather closely and will reach out in advance if conditions look unfavourable. If rain is a possibility, we'll either move your session to the next available date or shift to an indoor option like Mint Room Studios.
How many photos will I receive?
Rather than delivering hundreds of unedited files, we present a curated gallery of 30–40 finished images at your viewing appointment. Every image is individually retouched and colour-graded to our signature style. You'll then choose which images to include in your final products.
How soon will I see my photos?
Your private viewing appointment takes place approximately two weeks after your session. Final product delivery depends on what you order — prints and digital files are typically ready within 1–2 weeks, and albums within 1–2 weeks.
This chapter is brief and extraordinary. Let’s make sure you remember exactly how it felt.
